The right accessories are at least as important as the cards themselves. In this guide, I'll show you what you really need and where you can save money.
The Basics: Sleeves
Sleeves are an absolute must. Period. Without sleeves, every card will wear out over time — no matter how careful you are.
Soft Sleeves (Penny Sleeves)
The most affordable option. Ultra Pro Penny Sleeves cost €1.95 for 100 pieces from us. They protect against dust, fingerprints, and light scratches. Perfectly adequate for everyday play. But: They offer no protection against bending or harder impacts.
For whom? Casual players who mainly play their cards and don't intend to grade them.

Ring Binder vs. D-Ring
D-Ring binders are better than O-ring. Why? With O-ring binders, cards can get caught on the rings and develop pressure marks. D-Ring keeps the pages flatter and more secure. Invest the few extra euros — it's worth it.
9-Pocket vs. 12-Pocket
9-pocket is the standard — each page displays 18 cards (front and back). 12-pocket fits more cards on one page, but the pockets are tighter. For thick cards (VMAX, Holos with texture), it can be too tight. My tip: 9-pocket for the collection, 12-pocket for bulk/commons.
Deck Boxes
